It feels like it’s been so long since I’ve written. Not because of writer’s block—there’s no shortage of ideas swirling in my mind. In fact, it’s the opposite. There’s so much I want to say, so much I’ve learned, and so much I long to express.
But still, there’s this feeling—like a blockage. Not a lack of words, but the challenge of accurately expressing myself. That process can sometimes feel exhausting, even overwhelming.
Even so, I believe my insight could be a breath of fresh air for many. Writing, to me, is not just words on a page—it’s expression. It’s a way to show who I am, genuinely and sincerely.
As someone who often feels misunderstood, writing has always been my way of connecting with others, of being seen and heard. That’s one of the reasons I decided to write my book, Black and Neurodiverse: "The intersectionality of being Black and Neurodiverse."
Today, I’m excited to announce the launch of my new blog, The Black & Neurodivergent Toolkit! This space will be dedicated to creating resources for Black and neurodiverse individuals. I’ll also be inviting guest writers to share their unique perspectives, insights and takeaways.
